Meet the People Behind GramoGear

A company registered in a village in Uttar Pradesh, run by two people who split the work down the middle.

GramoGear trades under Sadhana Gramovastra Private Limited, and its registered address is not a business park. It is Hatwa Rampur Madooki, Manjhanpur, in Kaushambi district, Uttar Pradesh. That is a deliberate fact rather than a quirk of paperwork: the company sits where the work it depends on is done.

Two people, two halves

Ravendra Tiwari is Director and CEO, and holds the side of the business that faces the craft communities — who we buy from, on what terms, and what the relationship is supposed to become. Mansi Tiwari is Head of Design and Operations, and holds the side that faces the customer — what gets made, how it is cut, and whether it arrives as promised.

The split matters, because those two halves argue. A design decision that is easier to produce is not always the one that pays a cluster better. A price that respects the loom is not always the price a category expects. Having the argument between two people, out loud, is better than having it inside one head that eventually picks whichever answer is convenient.

What we are not, yet

We are early. The company was incorporated in 2026, the store opened this year, and there are parts of this we are still learning in public — sizing across body types, how long a piece really takes to reach a pin code we have never shipped to, how to write about craft without turning the people who do it into scenery.

Where we are unsure, we would rather say so than fill the gap with copy. Everything on this site that reads like a claim is one we can stand behind; when we cannot yet, we leave the space empty until we can.
